Kumi himo is Japanese for "gathered threads". It's technique used in jewellery making and nothing better may renew our old boring clothes than a good piece of jewellery. And to start doing your own bracelets and necklaces you'll need a Kuhimo plate in the first place.

 Kumihimo disks are not spendy but if you can't wait to do something you can make your own disk using a paper plate. All it requires is to make 32 cuts and hole in the centre.
